An eco video and lesson. We used to go to wine tastings in our little monotone years ago, They showed and spoke about Priort. I bought some, but not enough. It was delicious. I haven’t seen any since e then. That store closed. We have a Total Wine a state away from us, they had a few, none with the brands you spoke about. I hope to find a good one again. It is a delicious wine. I love a good Grenache. Thank you, as always a wonderful video. ❤

Thank you for your wonderful lesson on condrieu. I drank the 2020 Georges vernay coteau du Vernon and 2020 guigal la dorianne. I find the Georges vernay much more generous with it's fruit and even though it's more buttery than the la dorianne, it has just enough acidity to carry the weight through without tasting flabby. The la dorianne in contrast is more focused on the mineral aspect and it's fruit notes are more backward with tones of dried fruit skins. I think the Georges vernay will appeal more to a more modern palate for it's fruit forward character whole la dorianne appeal more to the classic palate for it's tension and mineral character. I'm really intrigued by the domaine gangloff condrieu but I am not sure if it leans towards the Coteau du Vernon camp or la doriane camp. I can only bid for a case of 6 so any information will be helpful. Thank you in advance!

Hi Julien, over the last few years I have enjoyed your videos so much. I live in a condo in Alberta Canada and since Covid have run regular wine tastings. Your great presentations have often helped me and I now am planning an Italian wine tasting. The information in your Italian series will be invaluable and I will be searching the shelves for some of the lesser known grape varieties, especially the whites, although I fear they will be few and far between. However I am sure, with your help, we will all experience Italy through the wonderful world of wines. Thanks again!! David 🇨🇦

Until just a few years ago, one could easily find dry, extra dry and brut champagne. However, it is nearly impossible to find anything but brut -- just more cost cutting, I suppose. As for me, Brut is short for BRUTAL, because it hurts my tongue so much. I'd like to know the actual difference in acidity. I also prefer the saucer champagne glass. The flute means the wine foams up too much and makes it difficult to swallow. It is not just me, either. I see posts all over the internet complaining about the same thing. Also, I have seen elsewhere that extra brut is sweeter than brut, but not as sweet as extra dry. Do terms vary by country?
